I want want new elites, and just to have something to do. Yeah, PvP is fun and all but there are other things that could consume my time. I'm not "excited".. I'm just sort of looking foward to it.

I'm not too terribly excited about it. I still have reservations about the game. But I'm using Head Start peeps to see what is what.

I'm fairly excited. I really want to explore the new areas, get myself some shiny new armor, check out the sights, all that good stuff.

I'm excited enough to be thinking about what factions will be like while I'm going to be away for a few days leading up to and following release.
So while I come back with a bit of a disadvantage of starting behind everyone else, I should be able to catch back up with their help

Same, I mean the screnary new quests, weapons, etc. I feel like the game is getting blah to me. Seems button this button that. I do enjoy vent and PVP, but a whole new game and more button mashing.

I'm too excited, I've hyped it up so much (for myself) that I'm getting worried that it won't stand my expectations.

In my opinion, being a newb and having no idea what's going on can be the most fun part - content to simply wander around, ask what the hell a salvage kit is and marvel at your enterprises in making almost 300 gold killing skale (rock hard skale; some level 5s).
I only hope that factions is confusing enough to recreate that experience

I'd say I'm interested, not excited. I just like to explore and have a wander. Don't particularly want to join a guild and do pvp type missions to further my game.

The only group I can see not being happy about the arrival of Factions...
Sorrow's Furnace Farmers....

i'm very exited, expole the whole new world , the ritualist ( i loved to play this proffession in the events, and my brother too) assassin a bit less, but could be cool with my ranger. Finaly alot more interesting lvl 20 area's , the continues challange that every player can do, not the best of the best like the hoh is, winning a 1 vs 8 battle in guild scrimmage and much much more

at first i wasnt to excited i thout a-net was just going to add 2 chars, a few new skills, a new pve story line to play throu, maybe a few items:/ basicly make the same game and count the cash. but when i readi the gamespot article it completly swayed my opinion even thou cantha is smaller there are so many improvements. guild schrimmages is one of my favorites
1on1 8on8 or even 1 on8 i think this is great beacuase my guild doesnt always have 8 members who are willing to gvg and we have some new members who can practice before putting our rating on the line, it also allows you to practice new builds you have never tried out before once agin w/o puting your rating on the line wich will very likly improve teams. another thing i like is the titles feature that will help u get better teams for pvp or pve(if you have a title that deals with what you are doing of course). thers alot more things as well guild hall NPCs u can purchase, larger teams to defeat stronger bosses, alliences, 16 on 16 battles, new guild halls, 1,000 new quests, new armor, and more.
any ways i suggest any 1 who isnt excited about factions to read that article on gamespot.com thers also a link at guildwars.com

I was never really that exicted about it. I mean, it's okay and all from the look of it and since I have the original GW, buying factions just seems like something that I must do. But I will hold off for 2 weeks mainly due to the facts that final exams are on those 2 weeks, but I will go get it after that and there will probably be enough thingss discovered then that I can get a feel for it by just reading the forums.
